No I mean the interior lights that should switch on and off when you open and close the doors, a favourate for failure is the tailgate, the light stays on when the tailgate is shut.

The interior lights work as normal.

looks like the bonnet switch is giving a false reading,there is only one switch on the nearside,if connected to vida you can take a reading,one other way to test is to slam the bonnet really hard,then if it works ok it will be the switch on the bonnet, 4 years ago there was a mod were you ground approx 2mm of the lock catch to allow the micro switch to be deflected further,but there might be a modified bonnet catch/switch now.

Hi, Many thanks to all who helped with this one, special thanks to grass hopper who told me to slam the bonnet closed, that's what I did and it worked straight away, so I'm chuffed. Thanks again, Ian

Open bonnet, slam down bonnet. This works on my car. Consdieration to neighbours by getly closing the bonnet fails to ensure the sensors are activated and alarm set.
Dampness, cold and age may also result in a poor activation of setting the alarm, but the big bang works for me.
