  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

My Amazon I run using a lead replacement additive and so far no problems.

Thanks for this info Mike. I occasionally use standard unleaded + additive but often fill up with Lead Replacement Petrol as it's available at the Chichester Sainsbury's near the Goodwood circuit (worth knowing if anyone is down this way). Do you know whether the ice blue paint on my car was a genuine Volvo colour because it seems to be pretty close to the original Volvo pale blue judging by the interior panels ?. It's much lighter than the metallic blue used on the later P1800E models though. As you say, it seems to be a good sound car - only some of the detailing lets it down which I intend sorting in time. It is supposed to be genuine but the original colour would have appeared lighter. The car was painted in 2 pack and 2k paint always has a stronger pigment in pale colours IMHO. Also there was a paler version of ice blue originally which I think your car had (code 95-1 as opposed to straight 95). I could only get the standard 95 from the suppliers I used
