Thanks for the info tho'. It does surprise me that it wouldn't fit the other cars!

No Prob Pete. Must check messages before sending.....

For completeness.....apparently it can, sort of, be fitted to 940's etc, BUT you must change the whole front section handbrake tray, gear-lever surround AND the rear ashtray set up, and even then not all the mounting holes etc will be present and I'm told it never really fits properly. Darn shame - I'd love cup-holders in the 940!!

What is it with these turdy little people that work in these roles that give em a minuscule bit of power that some of em feel that they have to feel so bloody smug about making life difficult for some of the rest of us??

Got a sensible person when I called Swansea, but as it is the local office that have the call on this I thought I'd better go and see them (impossible to phone em of course). I have been informed that if I scrap my car before I get my V5 that they reserve the right to have me hung, drawn and quartered. No matter how many ways I explained all to them and attempted to get them to agree that there was room for improvement, they were having none of it. Sod 'em....

To the people that have been in touch, just give me a bit of time to calm down and I'll start getting these bits off the car and weighed up etc and then come back to you all....oh....and for the rain to stop of course!!

Great to meet you today Peter - all the bits fitted and looking good.

Many thanks, and best of luck with the rest of the sales!

Thanks again,

Cheers Graeme, likewise. Brilliant, I am impressed.

I had a bit of a mess about when the rain cleared up (in fact, only just got in) taking loads of bits off. All the wood effect is off. Was quite easy in the end ;-)

Hi Peter,

What do you want for:

Air con pipes?

Power steering pump?

I have a V90 so would like the cup holder if available?

Thanks,

Gordon

Hi Gordon

Did you see the pics of the centre console cup holder on this post? http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showpo...48&postcount=7 The leather part is broken away at it's pivot point. In other words if you lift just the leather section to access the 2 cup holders for the rear passengers, it falls off. I don't know if this is fixable.

I have gone a bit blank as to how many pipes we are talking about for the aircon. Could you mark up a pic at all? I'll have a look in the morning as well and see what is involved.

As for price. I'll have a think and PM you. In the meantime, PM me what you think is fair. I assume I will have to remove the fluid to take off the power steering pump?
