again!
Well the so and sos done it again! No red flashing light on the dash and no response from the fob! P@**ed off now! I'll check the battery terminals are fine but can't think of anything else now. I am missing something? Is there any reason it should play up?

success (again)
Well it was a bad +ve connection! The bad snow managed to actually get on the battery and must have caused a bit of rust on the terminal. Just spent 5 minutes with a bit of sandpaper cleaning the connections that fix to the little bolt just infront of the postive connection. There are three leads to it. Now they are clean = problem solved. I had visions of paying for hours of work at Marshall Volvo in Grantham! Well relieved now. Can get on putting my wasted spark in now!
