I think 98-2002 me7 were variable only on the exhaust cam, then went fully on both.

mine is exhaust variable only on the v70r 2000

sounds like a bit a nasty job, anyone local want to earn a few quid and help or recommend somewhere that can do it that wont rip me off?

Yep sorry my bad it's of course the exhaust cam which is variable
