Well enlighten us Matt, you are now fast becoming the ecu master here lol. Tell us all about maps and chips lol.
You write in riddles half the time, playing on words with your innuendo and so on lol.
your posts are not always clear they seem to have more than one meaning lol.
Nah i'm not serious Matt. I'm sure you have worked hard in your spare time examining the art of chips and maps.
In your sig' you have a 'Bobcat /S W Autos ecu' I want to know more.

Paul
Im still running the std motronic 4.3 ecu, it has been modified slightly to allow my laptop to interface with it thus allowing me to change map values while the car is running or "live map" as its commonly referred to.

At the moment i running one of our 17psi off the shelf maps, then once the dyno is up and running the boost will be getting upped further (as well as fueling and ign plus some other control variables) to take advantage on some of my other mods that are in the pipeline.

so yes its still a std ecu, just the maps have been modified inside the eprom.

Blimey ! this sounds really interesting !

My progammable ECU was an Emerald M3D, so I could progamm as driving along; but I never had boost to worry about.

What a great 'hobby' as it were - good luck with it.

Chris
