Just to share an info if anyone is interested, I will get CENTRAXs from my Volvo dealer in Luxembourg (Autopolis) for 261EUR (cca 230GBP).

I know this post is old now but the information seems current (thanks guys).
Some of the links have changed so I just wanted to check that the following links are the same as the ones I would get from my local Volvo dealer as the price varies dramatically and the pictures don't quite match up. My tyres are 235/60/R18. http://www.autow.com/snow-chains/rud part R4716735 £250.26 http://www.volvopartshop.com/snow-ch...60-12849-p.asp part 31470480 £306.19 The official page is http://accessories.volvocars.com/en-...ent/VCC-480463 part 31408968 I'm also worried about mashing up my alloys... presumably the Centrax chains don't touch the wheel, only the tyres and the bolt? Cheers, Mark |

Gray 3, not sure if you're still watching this thread but thanks for your PM. Unfortunately I can't reply because I haven't made 30 posts yet but if you could PM me your contact details, I'd like to talk to you about the chains you mentioned! Cheers, Mark

I got my chains from here, they are closed for a week, but my Weissenfels Clack and Go SUV chains were £100 cheaper delivered than buying in the UK

20 inch wheels, Pewag fit
I have a XC 60 with 255/45/20 tyres, ie 20 inch wheel. Pewag Servo SUV chains fit. There is about 25 mm clearance between tyre and suspension strut. Pewag chain takes up about about 10 mm, so plenty of room left. I have been through this exercise with a professional chain supplier and fitter. No need to buy expensive single sided chains. Don't buy SSC Super Z6s because, although they have low clearance measurements, the cable on the back gets in the way with the suspension. Hope this helps and saves you money.
