  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Well it`s been a while since I posted this due to a house move. Started the car after a 6 week break. Took a fair few turns but fired up with no smoke so all seemed good. Looked underneath the car to see the speedo angle drive hanging down and a pool of oil directly underneath. Think I may have found the problem. Will fix Thursday ready for the M.O.T. Friday. regards Paul

It would be interesting to know whether it broke from the speed run, or if it just worked loose and fell out........

Perhaps best not say where you did this......
A B20B P1800 is good for just over a genuine 120 mph ... The 1800E even more i had one right off the clock on the speedo and rev counter once, that one was well run in at 200000 miles though !
