Thanks to all your comments.

Well, its arrived, really happy, powerful compared to my 530e, some good points some different, but I think it just takes time to adjust.

One question I cant seem to find answer to, on my BMW530e pre-conditioning mean't the cabin and the battery, on the Volvo app it looks like its only the cabin, is that correct.

Battery life definitely better than BM.

Looking forward to next few months settling in with it

I never use the preconditioning so not sure but I must say them alloys look amazing 😎 As much as I’m unhappy with some aspects of the car I gotta admit I absolutely love looking at it. S60 & S90 look gorgeous.

Re battery life, I only get 24 miles tops from a 100% charge from mine and the literature says 36.7 miles so not sure what’s going on but I never had a plug in hybrid before so can’t compare to anything 🤔

At this time of year I'm getting 40-45 miles from a 100% charge and over the winter that drops to around 35-38 on my MY22 V90 T6 Recharge. Sounds like Brett's is one with the smaller battery. With a 2023 model it should be similar to my experience. Also you'll get the higher power electric motor with the revised model.

Enjoy!

I think the battery change happened part way through 2022. My Jan 22 S90 has the smaller battery.
My only real complaint so far is that the tyres seem a bit fragile. I ripped one up last week on a road I have used regularly with my Range Rover - and of course there's no spare. But then I'll just have to get used to not having an off-road car, I suppose. I also haven't found a way to stop the cruise control being adaptive -it slows down well in advance of approaching slower vehicles, and sometimes gets confused by a truck in the nearside lane which I'm about to overtake.
Apart from that it's a really nice car to drive - I'm looking forward to taking it to Germany next week!

You can turn off the adaptive function in the settings. I can’t recall their names but there are 2 switches. One for the lane keeping and one for the adaptive function if I recall properly.

I think the adaptive cruise control is called pilot assist and the lane keeping is steering or lane assistance.

How are you finding the google infotainment vs the BMW idrive? I find BMW’s controller safer than a touching the screen

If you have an AAOS car, you should investigate using voice control more - it's much better in AAOS than it was in Sensus

Yes there is a button to turn it off, but when I press it it remains switched on. Maybe it's just my car...

yes must admit using the I drive controller was easier and safer, but think the Volvo will just take time getting used to it.

I do miss the options on the BMW to change drivings settings at touch of button rather than going into menu.
Again will eventually get used to it.
