Have you tried to get any local garage to just use compressed air to blow down one hole?
I had a blocked washer jet infront of the driver side, and e mechanic simply used a compressor with a small tube and stuck it over one of the washers. This should blow out any gunk or residue in the pipes that might be causing such poor spray.

Might be worth trying before buying something.

Hope this helps.

Default 850 Washer Jet Upgrade

Hi,
Popped into another volvo dealer yesterday and gave them that number, which is no V03655605. The jets are identical to those I got from VW after seeing a polo with them on. I fitted them to my other car and the jet was a nice fine mist.

On the 850 however, they do produce a fan spray, but it overshoots the sides of the screen. I suspect that the pump, but it was changed a year or so ago. Looks like I'll probably end up changing them back sometime.

I appreciate this in a little late on this topic but....

Having purchased some 'fan spray' washer jets, I noticed that the n/s washer was hardly putting any water out, although when I looked underneath, there was tons coming out of the little hole at the bottom of the t-pieces that connects to the short hoses that connects to jets. I have given all pieces a good blast with air.

Is this a sign that the internal part of the T-piece has failed or it is normal? on covering the hole with some good old sticky tape, I got the perfect spray pattern on the windscreen!

I know it isn't much to replace them but want to make sure that I need to before I do. Does blocking up the hole at bottom of t-piece have any long lasting detremental effect?

Cool

I think this is a non return valve. If you dont use the washers for a long time the water will run back and they wont work as quick as you might need them. For what this item costs you may as well replace it.
