Tried it with my 200W but kept falling off. The unit will prop up OK in the space though.

I have been told by my local dealer that a Garmin system will be available for the XC60 at the end of November. Not sure where it will be mounted though. Hopefully in the 'black hole'.

If anyone becomes aware of a Garim or other reputable sat nav system which is designed for the XC60, could they do a post on here. I'll be down to my dealer in a flash. Brendan |

Hi Bonnie-Sunshine/ Wasn't the sat-nav part of package? Missus wanted the rear parking camera and only way to get it was to get along with the sat-nav. ;(
On the flip side missus absolutely loves XC60 T6 - she should be 'coz the thing cost me extra 20k for the option alone! -__-+ |

In Australia you can option either the rear park assist camera or the sat nav individually, or as part of the Teknik package. The Teknik package includes Volvo Navigation System, Active Bending Lights, Bluetooth and Park assist camera. My preference was to go for the sun-roof and Bluetooth and a couple of other options rather than the full Teknik package. If you went for the full option list including the top of the line stereo, teknik pack, driver assist pack, sun-roof and 19" wheels, you'd be looking at a very steep rise in price. Brendan |

sat nav for XC60
HI all, looking at this thread I am sure I can help out, I have had lots of experiance with these types of things, I designed and supplied the RSE system to Volvo UK for the XC90 and have supplied lots of other systems to manufacturers, such as a navigation conversion dash boards to the Aston Martin factory for the DB7 and Vanquish. I would be happy to manufacture a housing to fit a portable nav system that wold look identical to the Volvo option dash, if there was enough interest. if the people who are interested PM me then I can work out if it is finacially viable for me, also let me know your prefered portable nav system and I will try and accomodate for this. looking forward to hearing from you.

[URL="http://vccs.volvocars.se/accessories/cat/en-GB/XC60/comfort/electronic/VCC-404173.htm"] I have emialed my dealer and they have come back with an installed cost of £915!!!! I am waiting for a response as to why a £180 sat nav costs over £700 to install.........
