I have a dtuk red tuning box on my 180BHP D5 bought second hand off ebay for just onder £100. The performance increase is noticable, I wouldn't say it's transformed the car but it does seem a bit dull when I have removed it! I am getting an extra 2 miles per gallon (despite the computer telling me I'm getting 8 more than I used to)
Comparing this to an Alfa I had remapped I would say the remap is the better bet although they do seem to be expensive!

Default tdi alive!

Hi, I have a tuning box on my 1999 V70 tdi, she is a handful now! Had a "dabble" with a Mitsubushi FTO on way home, that was tuned, I kept with him, he was well impressed when I stopped, disgusted when he saw it was a diesel!

Think mine is 140 PS standard, reckon easily another 30-40 PS with box fitted, bearing in mind the belts have been changed recently and dynamic timing is spot on..I'd guess 0-60 is about 6 seconds mark. Fun to drive now, especially on the open country roads where I live, a proper chav hunter!
