Ellemann - Jakobsen rocker cover. Paid a frigging fortune for this and someone decided to make me a very 'generous' offer of £50 by PM because he wanted it. It was never for sale in the first place.

Volvo spare wheel fuel can and fixings (no picture, sorry)

Bosch Knick 180 fog lights.

Early model door caps.

460 Turbo

MOMO Palm Beach (2 of 2)

OSCAM Vega Alloys.

Dealer plastic boot liner.

Yes indeed it was... If I remember right, the price was in the late 80ies around DM 2500, which would have been something like £900 at the time... For that price you could get a lot of other things for thencar like leather seats, aircon, automatic, power windows all round and sunroof...!

That trip computer is very nice! I have one of the ones Clan showed in my other 300 (the '91), from memory it's a Zemco ZT4 with the white wording changed. Also, as jakobandhismakarov shows the Vega's, I had a set of those, but recently sold them to a chap in Portugal.

The rev counter in a late 300 only ever went to 7,000, which is just before the redline on the engine that I've put into this car (I use it for road rallies, autotests, sprints and a bit of RWYB quarter mile as well as dailying it). So I took a spare, recalibrated it for 8,000 with the calibration pot on the back, made a new face with some computer software to put the numbers in the right place, then rotated that face (as long as all the face rotated without distorting, you can just take the needle off and put it back where you need it).

The idea is to put peak power vertically upright, the text etc isn't rotated to somewhat look like the 70s works rally cars/60s F1 cars where they just rotated the 2" gauge. I'm thinking I might do another face with the numbers round the right way though. Full post on how it was done is http://www.volvo300mania.com/forum-u...rt=510#p161516 , I keep meaning to write it up for the driver, I imagine the how to make a gauge face thing might be useful to someone one day.

So as not to side track the thread:

I like the grill cover, perfect in this weather. Are the 2 gauges on the center console from a 480? I think there were some extra gauges that fitted the early 300's but I don't remember seeing them on later 300's.

I could be wrong.

In my V70 I've got a genuine boot luggage net,

Sill Protectors, only compatible with the AWDs. Never and I mean never have I seen another set!

Genuine Wind Deflectors,

Plus a few other rare non Volvo bits like a Heico front spoiler.

In the 480 I've got the original mats with the Volvo logo embellished in them and a set hard mats, also got a hard boot liner,

Plus, I've got extra auxiliary gauges, a digital clock with built in stopwatch and a cupholder armrest but I've got no good photos for you!

The only accessory I might I don't have that I want is a rear venetian blind like the one below!

Here's the TurboBricks equivalent thread.... all 1500 and something posts worth (as at today!). I think you can get into Showroom without Registering.

Some links may be dead, as it's been going since 2006!!!

Here's some of my bits that I have in that thread:

I've just taken some pictures of some of the books that we have here in the house that I resort to when answering some of the questions that pop up here and on other Volvo forums (apologies for the quality, they were just quick pics using my phone)

The whole lot:

And broken down into 2 groups:

Couple of the more common books:

The more unusual ones:

They are from a 440 Matt, the 480 I believe had a gauges pod 3 wide? The reason I havn't the standard gauge panel in this one is I keep my wallet there when in shorts!

Yep that's right, the 480 had 3 gauges.

If mine was a Turbo then there wouldn't be a blank, the boost gauge would move those 2 over and sit on the left

Thanks, just finished reading all the posts! Some very interesting parts in the US.

My favorite were the light grey floor mats from a 240. Never seen them that color.
