Hi griffin447

Now, that is a bit of interesting news – very annoying for us owners, but encouraging as if it’s a software version glitch that has taken it away, then a new software version should be able to put it back. Like you, I could have sworn that v1.7 had these adjustments and v1.8 has removed them.

I really hope that being a MY22 XC60 Google owner is not going to be a constant software updates merry-go-round – i.e., what has been fixed and what has been broken. I have to put up with this malarkey with Windows software updates, but now in my car as well… I also feel sorry for the pending nightmare those early adopter EV car owners are going to experience with their Lithium-Ion cars – wait until Solid State is available, unless you plan to move the car on within 3 years.

I may now wait until the pending (dealer only update) version 2.0 system software update is available and then get the car booked in for warranty repair.

Cheers

Well, an unusual versioning numbering scheme – but then Volvo is an unusual car company.

It will be interesting to confirm if v1.10 can be done OTA, rather than via the dealer like v1.9?

It would be nice to know that it will fix the Standard audio mutilation it created with v1.8.

1.10 is OTA according to the software page and Volvo support. It takes a few days to distribute worldwide.
