Should just unlock the gate and pop it open a touch, rather than completely open (or close) it, Volvo really don't like the idea of it working completely remotely and want someone to be standing next to it, and therefore in control during operation.

Thanks for all the replies after much thought se lux with front parking sensors and adaptive cruise , sat nav does not bother me .

My new 2010 XC60 D5 with 205 bhp has an eta dealer of 6/6...... can't wait and counting!!

I have an ETA of 12th June.

There are lots of pics out there. Do a google image search. Or, better still, go to a big dealership and see as many as you can in the flesh. Photos rarely give an accurate impression.

Only 1 dealership local and they have a sapphire black one and a silver one . Saw a blue one at a dealership in brum but thats it .

You can get some of the same colours on other models, better to see on XC60 but you can still get a good impression of a colour on another car.

I like the look of the red but I haven't seen it on an xc60 yet and the one in the brochure is listed as a different red .
