For the last week or so we've had a lot of frost so it's been to cold.

Today at the moment it's raining but,it's forecast to dry up later so hopefully, finger's crossed it'll get done at lunch time'ish

I do try and clean it as often as i can as long as weather, work and my home life permit's me to do so.

So,untill then it's cleaning the window's in the house.

As a retired naval officer once told me,"a clean ship is a happy ship",and i have too agree with him.

I wash it when looks mucky...simples.

But...the system goes like this. Wait for it to rain, then take the car out of the garage and get it thoroughly soaked.

Wait for it to stop raining. Spring into action with three microfibre cloths - a newish one for the windows, one not-so-new for the roof and upper paintwork, and a grungy one for the lower paint work and the wheels. Swish all the water off - no shampoo, no nothing. Fifteen minutes and all done - back to the garage!

Car looks a treat, which I think is down to the original paintwork treatment - who said it was hard to keep a metallic black car clean??

(PS: system only works when you're retired and you can pick your timing!! )

Usually once to twice a week. All depends on how dirty it gets, the weather and what hours I'm working.

Every Friday lunchtime regardless sun, rain or snow, its either that or a pub lunch with the boss! Car wins hands down everytime. I find it relaxing and gets me out of the office with no phone calls or hassel, if its a bad week the car can get washed 2-3 times a week!

Every 2-3 months. I get cars in colours that hide the dirt well. My wife has a white car for the first time as it looks good. Only when clean however, something she is finding to her cost now.
