i dont think it does , the french ones use a modified manual box with a normal clutch plate and hydraulic actuators which do what your manual gear lever does , It is very jerky and has delays between gear changes . horrible
The powershift is designed from scratch for the job it has a manual gearset and selectors , the way it changes from one gear to the next is that it releases the one clutch whilst engaging the second clutch ,( one clutch will be driving the current gear and the other will be connected to the next gear but not engaged yet ) if the timings are right you get a very smooth gearchange .. Powershift is FORD ..
