Yes, my 940 has a grey interior - I bought the black doorcards as I was considering replacing the interior with a black interior, but given its history I've decided to keep it original. For now
If I find a mint black interior I might still be tempted - a black interior would look much better with the VerdiGris body IMHO.

If the swap with RT doesn't work out for whatever reason, and assuming they are with electric windows front and back, then I'd like to stick my name on them for first dibs, if you do ever decide to sell your cards. Cheers Steve |

I wish I could find a decent set of black door cards. My vynil is trashed.
I've found grey and beige, but not black.

Also to go from grey to black took quite a few coats so not the cheapest option Personally I would just wait and get a good set in the colour you want

Had a bit of time this afternoon, so I decided to fit the rear deck speakers and the rear sunscreen which I've had for months now.
Removing the rear seat base was straight forward, but the upright put up a real fight. I don't think it has been touched since it left the factory. The issue is that the rear headrests are bolted into position and don't raise at all, and the rear backrest has to be pushed up to release some clips. You can't remove the headrest until the seat back has been removed...Believe me its a real danger to your back - I've pulled a muscle in my lower back doing this this afternoon This is the clip in question for those considering doing this - Once the seat back was removed the rest of the job was easy. Swedish efficiency and engineering at its best Everything is partially pre-cut and just needs the panels cut out. The underside of the shelf - The soundproofing layer - Once they have been removed the speaker grill clips into place - how tidy is that! Post '95 model (IIRC) are pre-wired for the deck speakers - So I popped the speakers into place and hooked them up to make sure they worked ok - fortunately they did - whoopee! Some decent bass at last. I fitted the speakers into place using some rubber tape between the speakers and the deck to stop any vibration/rattling. There is no point trying to create a soundproof seal as there are so many apertures and holes in the deck already I then fitted the rear sunscreen - again an easy job as the holes that need to be drilled are ready marked. The final article - Rain stopped play at that point, so I'll have the joy of refitting the rear seat tomorrow...

Thanks for the offer, but I don't need any grey trim - fortunately my grey interior is superb. I guess I could be persuaded to sell the door cards if the price was right (or swap for an Omega wheel?) ...
