Now towed the caravan for first time. Lovely and stable, very pleased. A couple of minor electrical issues with the lights.

My only regret with the car is that I couldn't order the full beige interior, I don't like the black part of the black/beige trim especially the black carpets that show every little bit of dirt that the beige carpets of the V70 didn't. I may splash out on some new mats.

Chances are that the glass will have a slight degree of tint anyway (I can't remember seeing a car that didn't bar some pretty old machines).
Glass, even clear glass, does not transmit 100% of light. Add a slight tint (if the laminated has it). Then add even a clear film and you are then near the threshold for VLT.

This for windows infront of the "B" pillar..

Pretty much Euan, long time since I have done this but worth getting some aerosol brake cleaner to spray on the calipe o ensur hat I is free from dir and grease

The stuff I got off Amazon was a box with aerosol cleaner, yin of paint and a brush. Though I needed a smaller brush as well for intricate bits plus some cellulose thinners for brush cleaning.
