Next on my list of things to do is checking injectors. I did the screwdriver sound tst while back and they are firing, but they may be clogged.
So I have 2 routes, either I clean them myself or a have them professionaly cleaned.
I wasn't in the mood for another diy project so I called a shop nearby and asked how much it was to test and clean 4 injectors. No instalations/uninstalation. To my surprise, they quoted me on 89€ (i'm pretty sure plus taxes). wtf i didn't know how much it would cost but 90 bucks is wildly of.

What do you say? How much would you pay/charge for that service?
£12 each here to clean and replace o rings etc

That is more or less in line with the prices mentioned in the faq that was probably written some time ago.

I guess he didn't want/need the work.

It is hard to do it at home? I was thinking of using a 9v battery to activate the injector while flushing it with carb cleaner both ways. I've seen videos of guys doing that, but I don't know if works or if it may damage the injectors for some reason.

If you have an injector resistor pack then 9V may be too high, if you don't have the resistor pack, 9V may not be enough.

You need to find that out before continuing.

Looking at pics, I think I might have one. Will check tomorrow.
I can always make a 12v bat using tripleA batteries.

I've just received the silicone vacuum hoses I bought to replace the existing ones, as part of the effort to solve the misfire issue.
I couldn't source Goblin Clamps locally. What other sorts of clips could be used?
I'm guessing plastic zip ties are a possibility, but it won't look that nice. I can use them for now, but I would like to replace them with something else in the future. Are there any other options?
Steel clamps come to mind but that seems a bit overkill.
