I'm going to try and make that sound even worse - it's not turned a wheel in 1/4 century and certainly not this millennium!

On the other note, the reserve, as i'm not on speaking terms with the one generally percieved to be God, i hunted for clues in the listing.
Turns out he's only the second owner and it has a huge history file so he seems to view it as worth saving. As such he's set a reserve high enough to deter the banger boys but not so high that an enthusiast (a brave one i expect!) will be able to buy it and recommission it.

Without trying too hard, i spotted at least 3 potential problems under the bonnet in the photo - wrong coolant, crushed breather hose and what appears to be the carb adjusting tool sitting in the dashpot. Makes me wonder..............
