The green updated expansion bottle cap has been annoying me ever since I changed the original out due to them being a high failure point. The green cap doesn't 'fit in' with the rest of the decor under the bonnet (hood) so I decided to have a look to see if it was possible to swap over the internals.

With care the rubber seal can be removed and the inner part lifts out, fitting the new internal to the original grey cap is simple but care and a little TLC is required to make ensure you seat the rubber seal correctly as it wants to sit in the threads and not the groove.

Job done and looks so much better...
