It's just down the road from the factory (10mins drive tops), and is a disused underground nuclearproof hangar system, stuffed full of Swedish military aircraft, many of which you can sit in (sad, but an unusual treat I found).

I arrive on Monday night and leave on Thursday morning, so could help with lifts etc from airport.

Yes nothing has changed except for 15mins later and having pastries and tea instead of factory tour (poss film)

We should be all accounted for from the airport, some of us are hiring a car and other are booked on the bus

It would appear Volvo guards new model secrecy far more jealously today than it did in the early 1980s when production of the then yet to be released 740/760 had got underway.

As I'll be in Gothenburg until the Friday evening I made enquiries about whether there were any factory tours running on either the Thursday or the Friday, on the off chance that there was something special going on in the factory only on the Wednesday to cause the cancellation of our booking that day. This is the response I received:

"In the factory there is now confidentiality and this means that the factory is closed to visitors until March next year. If you have the opportunity to come back, we book factory tours again from Monday the 07th of March -2016."

Absolutely no chances being taken then - which is understandable.

We can discuss at the museum, but it would be nice I have found a nice pub from last time, which was quite cheap and a good atmosphere

I also would love a group evening out, and I know my 2 mates would love it as well - we are all car geeks lol
