I have size 12 feet and have no foot rest on the left of the clutch! Small fuel tank. Hand break position. Reverse gear a pain to engage But it has cup holders so im very happy! |

Three dislikes for my lovely, comfy S80 T6 are:
1) Knowing it's worth less than the £4500 extra paid for additional options by the original owner! 2) The MPG 3) The fear of something going wrong and leaving me with a bill to pay that I can't afford... In the meantime though I do really rather like it - especially those seats which are really helping my back pains to subside |

V40 2.0 non-turbo phase 2 (2000):
1. Feeble headlights. 2. Thick A-pillars (nearly killed a cyclist whom I simply didn't see; now I check very carefully!) 3. Steering is too light. Other than that it's great: comfy, quiet, quick, lots of goodies! 740 estate 2.0 (1989): 1. Slower to 60 mph than the Larsen ice shelf - which it resembles! 2. Bouncy ride. 3. A bit noisy. 4. Windscreen washers that only hit the screen between 40 and 50 mph?? But I love it! Especially the seats, and the space, and the practicality, and the fact that the old girl sails through the MoT every year. |

!990 740 td estate:
1:It's blown a head gasket and I can't afford to get it fixed and will have to be scrapped. 2:I couldn't use my "clunk clip" due to seat belt fittings so had to use a clothes peg to stop from being pinned to the seat 3: MPG Overall my best ever car - GREAT turning circle, and with the power steering I can get it in smaller spaces then my old Escort Estate (Him:"It won't go in that space" Me: "Oh yes it will!"), really comfy and LOADs of space for all my equipment. I am so sad to be saying Goodbye ... |

1989 740 estate - LOVE it, had it longer than any other car, so easy to drive, it will take massive amounts of dog food, horse food etc without even noticing, (my last Vauxhall estate used to have a diva strop if you put too many sacks in it!)
Agree about the turning circle, amazing for it's size, and easy to park, unless you are in a multi storey and someone with a Discovery parks directly opposite LOL Bad things, no petrol gauge and have to keep counting on my fingers so as not to run out of petrol - and the dashboard lights have always thought they should be on a Christmas tree!! |

Oh yeah, forgot about the fuel gauge; mine never worked, I just reset the tripmeter each time I filled up and refuelled before it got to 300 miles.
...and the driver's seat doesn't heat... and neither does the rear demister. |
