Ooooh, nasty!

At least the centre cap is lined up nicely, lol!

Paint a bit of rust eater onto it, then a coating of silver paint - That'll sort it out.

I'm looking at buying a new set of locking nuts for mine.

I have to say the debadged grille does look good on yours Alex, must be the overall black thing. It looks very mean from the front.

Little job for tomorrow then!

Not much left to do on this car now, just splitter respray and cambelt come MOT time.

Oh, and the turbo of course

Lovely Alex!

On the note of wheel nuts, does anyone know how to get the original shiny finish back to them? Will they need to be plated?

Thanks!

Are you sure they weren't silver originally?

If you paint them chrome, the paint will just crack off, as you tighten them up.

Plating would be OK, or you can buy chrome plastic covers.

I assume it is possible to buy chrome nuts from somewhere.

M12 x 1.5 is the size, I am sure.

You just answered your own question there, Kieran.

After a week, wash it again, lol!

That's also what I do and it does keep it from dulling.

Yeah, I felt like that last weekend, mate. Not good, especially when I was starting my holiday.

Always good to send a clean car to the MOT test centre.

My MOT is also due on the first week of May.
