  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

If it is a leak as in a hose with a hole or cut though, you may find that it runs OK until temperture rises and then with expansion and higher boost, it causes the problem.
What do you mean by the DSA going la la?

The traction control light suddenly comes on and it may, or my not cut in. Mine did on sliproad off M61 last winter, when pipe blew off connecting hose...

Hmm interesting as mine comes on every so often and am getting what sounds like a faint 'hoover' noise when I accelerate. It could be what the OP is experiencing too. So, on that, what would need checking?

Oh and that comes over the whoosh from the cone filter and seems to be coming from the drivers side.

Mine was down to larger diameter intercooler piping not having lipped/rolled ends. Jubilee clips could not hold tight enough to prevent connecting hoses blowing off when full boost came on. It was the connection from bottom of IC to turbo that was problem (and a bitch to get to....)!
