Not immediately...... maybe 10 seconds or so.
I had engine running and climate on Auto which automatically activates AQS.

Hi I have been playing with vida today, and I was looking at the recirculating air setting in vida and when I sprayed the windscreen washer fluid the reading increased up to 100%, then went down again after a few seconds, so it is working
thanks Dave |

The air climate quality sensor in my 2001 V70 does not look the same as the illustrations I have seen for the cheaper alternatives available on ebay. I have removed the cover to take a look and the part number on the original sensor fitted to my car is 08665059.
Has anyone found a sensibly priced alternative for this part? Volvo main dealer has just quoted me a price of £311 plus VAT (£373.20) Comments read so far have suggested the alternative vw part (1K0907659) should fit v70's from 2000 up to 2004 but it won't fit my 2001 V70. NI Volvo Nut on here is breaking an early S60 that may have the part you're after in it. Maybe worth contacting him to check part numbers etc.
