  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Mine is the same - turn knob downwards to reduce sensitivity.

Although i agree real men don't read manuals - i did read the manual from cover to cover when i got the car. I just didn't recall anything about altering the sensitivity of the auto wipers when it came to it.

The rain sensor automatically regulates wiper speed according to the amount of water on the windshield. The sensitivity of the rain sensor can be adjusted moving the thumb wheel up (the wipers will sweep the windshield more fre- quently) or down (the wipers will sweep the windshield less frequently).

Yes, you're right, and it's the same on mine. I don't know what I had been drinking when I posted the wrong information.

The line is broad at the upper end and thin at the lower, not as I thought it was. So high sensitivity and frequent wiping, depending on if you use the rain sensor or the intermittent function, goes hand in hand.

It's too late to change this post, but it's wrong. The line is thicker at the top, indicating high sensitivity or frequent wiping.
