Hence why i borrowed some fiat and tumble dryer bits, also did the same mod on an old Renaul 11 GT Turbo i had, worked well on that after i would the actuator in somewhat

altering the actuator.Is that as safe as an MBC??

no idea about volvo turbos im afraid, on the 1.4 renaults there was a little threaded bar on top of the turbo, the shorter the length of the rod the higher the boost, or was it the other way round, i cant remember its been 13 years since i ploughed thousands into that car!!!

as long as you do it pre filter, knock as many holes in it as you want. Dont worry about changing the filter - you need to be pushing a lot more psi before you need a bigger filter.



I was running 15psi with that setup.
