A bit dramatic. I sincerely doubt many T8 drivers are doing that or are
that concerned with minor bit of electric regen.
Bottom line is PHEVs are great in certain scenarios (like short commutes) and low speed trundles through town where a bit of electricity harvested from the brakes keeps you away from the ICE a good majority of the time.
They don't make so much
economic sense on faster Motorways or A/B roads, but for the 10K premium you are getting a 400+ bhp car with effortless touring capability and for some, that's the biggest attraction anyway.
