I'll (hopefully) be fitting a B230FK to my 240.. Bit more common than the FT, and for my tootling around town I'll need the low pressure turbo's benefits below 3000. Just need to source a 940.. There's tonnes around where I live, but they're all in use!

I always thought there was an issue with the steering column hitting the turbo if you dropped a turbo unit into a 240?

There is - it's with the downpipe I believe, and some heat shrouding will need to be done around the brake servo pipes. I'll let the experts answer this more in depth though..

Well, i've collected my almost complete 940 with a B230fk motor.

Nothing important missing. It starts and drives. No nasty rattles or smoking, ticks over nice and smooth.

Bit limited on space at the moment as the 940 and my Suzuki fill the garage. Once i get some spare time i'll have a tidy out and then start stripping it down to get all the relevant bits.

Need to "finish" the Suzuki so i can use it as my daily when i take the 240 off the road.
