  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

wouldnt know where to start with fault codes! Always been an old school listen, educated guess, burnt fingers sorta guy so havnt needed to but happy to try.

whats do i need ?

Top motor mounts f00ked. Sounds like we are onto something!

How do we disconnect the lamda sensor to find out ?

Lambda sensor is on the exhaust behind the engine and just in front of the cat.
Connector at the rear of the gearbox.

Disconnect this way:

Could a cracked manifiold be the cause then ?

I have the feeling that you have more than one problem, but a cracked manifold won't help.

1. Read the codes note & reset them.

2. Disconnect the Lambda sensor.

3. See if the car runs and if any better.

4. Read the codes again, but expect a Lambda sensor code.

5. Post back with findings.
