Yes I do find surround camera very useful indeed. I use it a lot, despite thinking initially that I won't use it much. The car is deceptively large, both the steering and the design make it look and feel smaller.

I agree with the image issue, which is one of the reasons I bought this car. Elegant but understated.

The car I tested had standard 20" wheels the same as I am getting. I would have liked the cameras but I'm buying a car that is available in 2 weeks rather than factory ordering so have to take it as it is. I want it in time to take away to France and Spain when the kids break up for summer hols. Will be putting 3000 miles on it in 4 weeks so will be well run in when we get back!

The all-new Volvo XC90 has been a vehicle we've been keeping an eye on and when we enthusiastically covered its debut and tours at the various auto shows, we were very keen on how it would do saleswise. There's no doubt about it. The company has a winner on its hands.

According to Volvo, it had only forecasted building 50,000 units of the all-new XC90. Guess what? It's already moved 44,000. It seems that Volvo is going to have a supply problem in the near term until it figures out this problem.

And, it's only going to get worse.

You might remember 2002 when the XC90 was launched , it was a new venture and volvo planned 50000 a year , we had to wait a year for cars in the UK , USA was sucking them all up , volvo had to double production ..
They have taken on 1500 new workers to add a third shift in the factory, for the New XC90 . ..

I do remember. I was living in New York at the time and you can probably imagine the angst there when the MV Tricolor sank in the Channel with one of the first shipments of XC90s...

So there's a load of new XC90's sat at the bottom of the English channel somewhere?

well 1/2 XC90s perhaps , the diamond cable which they used to cut up the ship also cut many XC90's and other cars in half ... They cleaned up the sea bed no doubt ..
