The liners are not a bad price.
The only reason for using 240 and 940 parts is have them about and they have cost me nothing. Upcycling is far more enviromentally friendly than recycling Making them in GRP is an option but as both plastic and metal ones are available not a lot of point in designing something that has already been done |

Liners
I have the plastic ones on my Amazon from Holland I think, and you do need to work them into place ideally with a hot air gun. Once they are in and you're happy with the fit a couple of self-tapping screws into the inner arch will secure them. I also had to put a small bolt through the corner of the front wing flange too, but you don't see it below the bumper, as you will without doubt have snapped off all of the retaining clips while manoeuvering the liners into place!!

I would recomend you to have a carefull look at what's going on in under your side window rubbers there. Moisture collects underneath them and eventually the metal rusts through allowing water to pool right down in the boot corners causing them to rust through.

yes, you are quite right, I noticed they had rotted under the rubbers when I bought the car. I think the Near side was the worst effected.
Thanks for advice and the Pic's |

We have made some progress over Christmas.
Welding has been completed on the rear end, very happy with the results. Divers side A post has been repaired. Good progress on the doors has been made. with the drivers requiring the most amount of attention. Unfortunately I only managed to take some pics of the drivers door before my battery died. but if you want to see some nice brazing... |

You can buy the channel that the door rubbers fit into. Looks like you have a few sections that could do with replacing.
It is coming along well |

Brookhouse Volvo sell them by the meter. I have also used it for 1800 cars also although the Amazon ones a a little narrower than the 1800 original they can be made fit with a little spreading when tacked onto the door.
