Lots of really useful advice there, and very timely, as I am going on a camping trip to north Wales, by way of Yorkshire, at the weekend in The Volvo. Pictures to follow, hopefully

A bit obvious but has been overlooked............................. a jack and wheel nut undoing / doing up thingy.
You would be surprised how few people have a compatable jack in their car when you flag them down at 2 o/c in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doh! |

I also keep a spare set of strong work boots in the back of The Volvo. They have been useful many times in the past, especially when engaged in outdoor pursuits such as hiking, officiating at dog shows, urban exploration and rescuing cars from muddy fields

If you're going fishing in Scotland don't forget a midge net for your head - all depends where you're fishing though!
