only thing I've changed on mine is the rear anti-roll bar to an IPD one. Mines the SE Lux model and I found it a bit too barge like through sweeping bends. The new anti-roll bar tightens it up a bit without compromising the ride quality.

Winter tyres and a full set of blinds completes mods... I do toy with the idea of a remap, but really can't justify the expense.... unless it'll significantly improve the mpg??

I have had 3 previous cars remapped, my brother has his and my dad has his little tiguan done by amd. currently without but not through choice.

Typically it's 5mpg and 20% on bhp but obviously but depends on driving style for the Eco angle.
I wouldn't judge it totally on mpg merits alone. For me a richer band of torque low down torque makes the world of difference in driveability, it enables you to pull higher gears for economy and assists effortless overtakes if you are pressing on.
I recommend p-torque in Wolverhampton, good price and it's custom mapping specific to each motor rather than some generic overpriced product which may not satisfy your requirements. You can get a map which is purely tailored for Eco driving if that's really your bag.

The anti-roll bar mod sounds interesting. Could you please tell us where you got it from.

Thanks.

Could you provide a link to the new sway bar?
What suspension do you have on your Volvo?

I've been thinking of this mod, as I did it on my previous car and it was a miracle of a upgrade.

This is the one I fitted

http://www.ipdusa.com/products/8809/...way-bar-kit-p3

Mike95, I was lucky enough to spot one on ebay. It's the same one for a few different models, mine wasn't listed as for an xc60, I cross-referenced it.

I got the idea from the guys over on swedespeed
