Top box fitted too. 29.4 mpg on the pooter Not gonna grumble at that performance for a car that cost me £850 two or so years ago

Yup I wasn't quite sure on that but when I first tweeked it out a bit it was really wanting to wander all over so I went the other way and it was good. But the outer edges were still wearing. So I went in a couple more notches, usually 1/8 turn on a side. Maybe it's too much now. I think I need put a sripe of paint across the tire so I can see how even the wear is. I could have it alighned too I guess. Usually I have pretty good luck with trial and error. I just think the front end on this is loose.

My 96 T5 is a youngster then! 118k and just serviced by one of the lads off
T5D5. £15 AN HOUR LABOUR YOU CAN'T BEAT!
Running like a dream apart from needing service light reset(draper tool didn't work!) and a bit of wander from the 17" Volans and had Nivo's fitted couple months back. Feels generally ok in normal driving but would be wary track daying it, though it would be great. Just doesn't feel well enough planted, for me, to take her out.
Seems like a firm ride but there's a bit of wallow and some steering wheel play. Think I'd prefer very firm and no wallow. Something tired I guess.
Very happy with her now and used to the crash bang.

Well it is our main car, and we do use it for our 'hobby' which is competing in agility with our dogs. So, after the daily hacks, many weekend jaunts of around 100+ miles. This year to the south of France as per previous post. Going to Kent next month via Calais with the trailer tent, so that'll be a good 6 hours to Calais... October, swmbo is off to Devon, via Roscoff, so it gets a fair share of use.
Bought in Feb' 09 with 138k. So, what 2&1/2 years and 32,000 miles

Mine is just at 78,000.
Drives nice and pulls away very fast.
Few rattles on the front suspension and needs a new bonnet.
