I would agree with an earlier poster that the Amazon was a handsome car of its period. Myself I hold the current S60, particularly from slightly rearward view as the most elegant Volvo yet.

Otherwise, again as previously, the later Aston Martins.

Don.

Surely it has to be a toss up between the Citroen DS21 and the Aston Martin DB4GT (not the Zagato - that comes 3rd.....)

Height can be a factor. Understand what you are saying @ 6'3". My son-inlaw is 6'7" & avoids my 262C! My brother 5'10" often smacks his head when trying to get into my 262c. He bought my Volvo P1800 & never had a problem. Go figure.

Having said that I've heard stories of a bloke who used to get his double bass in a mini!
Problem is I love 'em all really!

I believe it. Difficult not to love something in just about every car.

Or V8 Vantage
Or... help!
Preferred the 1969 fastback with the quad head lights (only year) & dummy side air ducts. Had one. Looked good in the driveway. But had trouble with carb & stalling. Dealer never seemed to fix the problem. Mind you the 1970 Boss 302 in orange/yellow had many fans! The 2007-08 Mustangs reflect the 1969-70 era. Retro is good! Good for mid-life crisis & affordable!

In my mind, the most beautiful car ever, ever, ever, is the '59 Cadillac Eldorado.

If I had a choice, I'd go for an ex-Ambulance or ex-Hearse conversion (Ghostbusters), personally.
