Just remembered, a few years back I shopped a Volvo 240 driver who slammed into a parked car and drove off, I sprinted up the street, got his reg number, and reported it to the police and told the owner. Weeks earlier someone did the same thing to my Saxo, pulled the bumper clean off, call it karma.

Sorry to hear, it doesn't look like a gentle scrape either. What a lowlife to drive away.

That is a real shame, but if it can be fixed for £200, that is a bargain.

Hit and runners are the lowest of the low.

Chances are, someone to bolts after an accident was probable drunk, or uninsured anyway.

If you go for a repair, probably best to get someone to have a proper look at the internal goings on rather than just a body shop job. I see how its bent around the fuel filler area. If it was mine I'd be wanting to make sure everything was still securely attached and intact between the filler hole thingy and the pipework leading down to the tank.

It must have been a hell of a knock. There's no way the perpetrator didn't notice, and there's no way their car is undamaged.

Just a thought, but why not phone round the local van hire companies to see if anything has come back in with new damage.
