It's a fair question, especially as you seem to have had a rather long list of issues with this car. It could be a 'Friday afternoon car' as they used to say, or just one with an unknown history. I also recall a post some 12 months ago where a Volvo Selekt car was moved through the dealership chain and the selling dealer had no knowledge of the previous accident (it was a hire car). Eventually the truth come out but not without some persistence from the unlucky owner.

I know the car hasn't had a shunt due to the condition of the car corresponding with the mileage. Also I had the car looked at by a friend who has a body shop and he said it looks fine. He should know as his main job is painting brand new vehicles that are damaged before they get to the customer which will never be mentioned to the buyer. I wouldn't say I've had loads of problems just the ones I have seem to be hard to fix apparently. Anyway if it still no good when I get it back it's bye bye volvo
