Mine has the 2 levers at the base on the rear.

To you posters having problems in getting the passenger front seat to lie flat ... you might have tried this in which case ... apologies ... but ....

.... before tilting seat back into lowered position by releasing clips, make sure the seat back has been :

1. Fully elevated / put into its most upright position i.e. with wheel on side of seat... towards windscreen ...
2. Seat Frame has been pushed to its most rear position ( obviously towards back of car !!!)....
3. Then lower seat by releasing clips ...Bingo !!! ..... must be something to do with angles.

Tried this yesterday before a B and Q trip and it does work.

that's an impressive amount of things...on the other hand the sofa bed I'd need to get is the only one in IKEA history that you don't have to assemble, because it's already done.

207x87x41 cm seem a bit too much for me, we don't have 87 cm between the driver seat and the door...and for sure not in height

See my post 18, put it on the roof with a tarpaulin or plastic sheet over it, 1000 gauge dpc membrane is ideal and even if you have to buy a roll from jewsons probably cheaper than the delivery charge.

Aha, ok - I just thought because the R-Design seats are slightly different (slightly deeper side / base bolsters) they won't go completely flat, didn't think of angling the backrest forward and sliding the seat back!

Need to go get a wardrobe, toddler bed and few other bits next week so might give that a try (probably no need but I'm curious now), thanks!

Yes - as described in the handbook - -

Which also says to then slide the seat forward so the headrest "locks" under the glovebox. Useful facility.

Just had a look and my R-Design has two levers as well! And the seat fold fully forward within the bolstering of the seat.

Eight years on and I'm still learning stuff my car can do. Thanks for the info.

Here it's used for other purposes, but this is what you want when you go to IKEA. Been there (at the IKEA, since I live 25 km away from Älmhult, where IKEA all started), tried that.

For cargo
