Ive never been in one but from the outside they just look right, purposeful and deliberate but not extravagant - exactly what the volvo brand claims to be!
It's a great looking car and I hope it all goes amazing for you! David. |

If you need any rare additional extras that you just cant find in the UK, let me know.. the local scrappy here has a endless pile of 240s
Im still really tempted in getting a 965 or 850 T5 R... theres plenty around here |

Unfortunately not... I have only come across 2 on my infrequent trips there, both phase 1s and both in poor condition apart from that I managed to take 2 sunvisors with mirrors and lights, nearside (in UK) wing mirror and cover plus footplates. The mirror cover didnt fit my phase 2 and the mirror was slightly smaller but I made it fit.
For some reason the phase 2s arent very popular over here. Initially, going by prices of similar models and engines and condition, I could have sold mine for whats about £2000-5000... But recently the prices for diesel V40s has dropped big time and now Im looking at £1000-1500 and thats depending on if there would be any sort of interest in a rhd :-/ |

That T5 conversion and Restoration of the 240 is some fantastic work, how does one acquire that practical skill and knowledge? Antz?

Jump in and give it a go. Before I started it I couldn't even change my own oil. I learnt by getting stuck in, making mistakes and going hands on. What comes apart must go back together. It's just nuts and bolts.....except wiring I didn't do that bit.

Would have loved to have seen what else was on your street out of shot of your photo - 240, Proton GL, and a Sierra, can imagine the rest would probably be Novas and E28 Beemers! :-)
