So after my issues above, today I received some 5 SMD LED bulbs.
I decided to try these in the interior lights, as I throught the 9 SMDs were a bit too bright, so I popped one in, and the first thing I noticed was how white it was compared to the 9 SMD ones I'd previously bought, which were quite blue in comparison: (New 5 SMD on left, prevous 9 SMD on right) So hopefully these new ones won't look quite so odd against the less white Night Breaker H7s when used in the sidelights, but I'll have to wait until it's dark to find out! I know the colour has got nothing to do with the number of SMDs, just a shame it can be difficult find out their temperature before buying. I tried the 5 SMDs in the side markers too, but not even these fitted. So I then decided to do the number plate bulbs. After faffing around trying to work out why I couldn't get the bulb holder back in, I eventually got the light casing out, and discovered it was due to the plastic melting a bit, so a screwdriver helped scrape off the excess plastic. But then I made a stupid mistake, and dropped the bulb holder including bulb, and it fell inside the boot lid: Any idea how I can get them out!? I've tried driving up steep bumpy hills with no joy. Failing that, where can I buy a new bulb holder from? |

just a camera mode. Like sport mode or macro mode on digital camera
Btw http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=230610815746 I fitted these leds. Length from top 2 leds to bottom metal wires are 27mm or 2.7cm And anyway, these leds look blueish when comparing them with main lights.... can somebody suggest pure white light instead of that I have now?

Those LEDs are quite blue wacky, the ones me and Biotoxic got aren't as blue but do have a very very slight tint to them (5500 colour temp).
IMG_0141.jpg But they are almost a perfect match to my HID's IMG_0126.jpg IMG_0128.jpg (Taken with iPhone so not entirely true representation!)

If they ask you to remove them then remove just one and show that light coming from LED is white not Blue( just in case carry one blue light as well with you, so you can compare that on the spot )
