Glad to see its sold for you. I'm like heyskull, in fact live only 6 miles from him, if it wasn't so far away I'd have bought it. It would be more reliable than the pile of rubbish v50 I've got. I hope whoever bought it looks after it.

Glad you got a quick result and didn't have to resort to weighing it in. It may be 25 years old but we all know how long these can go on for. Glad it's gone to a good home. I also hope new owner will cherish it like you have for all those years. This beauty is a credit to you.

Lovely car,

I have a feeling it's gone to a good home, no chance of this one getting scrapped, broken or diff welded and ragged round thankfully.

Thanks so much to the owner putting the car on here and allowing it to be sold to a real enthusiast.

Thanks again, hope your pleased with your new purchase....

Well after twenty four years and one day of ownership the 960 goes to a new home today. Hopefully the new one will give as good a service as the old one/

It had a new Turbo a few years ago, and until I retired in 2009, whatever it required was done - no expense spared! I have a file with every invoice, from purchase until service in June 2016. It is used daily, and I'm currently using a Garmin SatNav as a speedo! The Volvo specialist that currently services the car say they are confident it would get through its MOT this year.
I was thinking £750 ono - am I being over optimistic. I realise the speedo is quite a serious problem. Thanks in advance.
It sounds like a good car, fixable or donor.
Too far away for me. (The speedo is not an MOT fail by the way)

That's a great car my friend, and I would give you £700 no problem, love the colour too. My only reservation is I'm in Cheshire, bit too far for me. Good luck with the sale, on eBay I think you'll sell it quickly and achieve a good price.
With all good wishes, Dave.
