Yes...emailed you details to avoid Bob's (Moderator) wrath :)
If you decide to go ahead....make sure ALL trace of polish (especially 'Armor-All'(?)) is removed. You never get enough isopropyl alcohol swabs with these kits....but if you get a cholestrol check at the doc's, like I did, and sweet talk the nurse she'll supply a good handful of pre-med swabs that'll do the job :)....now how's that for dedication? :) Regards to all Bob |

Thanks Francis, you're too kind :)
If anyone else is going to do this and has trouble sourcing extra isopropyl alcohol let me know....I have several swabs left over that you're welcome to. Regards Bob |

RE: Wood Dash Kit
Hi All,
Sorry, been away. Glad you were able to make sense of my awful pictures. This is the set I purchased off of ebay for £56.00 I found that the little alcohol wipes that come with the pack were just enough, but you have to work fast as they dry out quick. Make sure all surfaces to be covered a free of all polish, grease or dust. I found that the parts were generally a good fit, and as long as you dont press down too hard, they can be pulled up and repositioned if required - once down however, not so easy. In my case, I was left with a few small gaps - the kit is just a little short in some places, but not so you notice. They recommend a hair dryer to finish, but I just warmed up the inside of the car and that did the trick. The effect is bang on, and very authentic. It gives the car a whole new feel, and I would recommend it to anyone. |
