Well just a quick update to my engine service required message,
I did check most of my vacuum lines and all appeared to be in good condition, but as you suggested I checked the pipe on the turbo side, and it did seem to be a bit spongy, anyway I managed to source a replacement with the sensor, fitted yesterday, gave it a bit of a boot down the road, and the message reappeared, I was gutted, switched off, and tried again the same message, restarted again... And hurray no message.....
She's revving past the point she would when the limp mode would accure so I'm happy about that, although honestly I am a little disappointed with the overall power.. She gets up there with the speed, but I think I might have expected a little more punch.. Lol but I have just come out of a an ex police t5 260 bhp.. So it's never going to be as fast....
But thank you to all those who made suggestions....

Unfortunately I think I may have jinxed myself by stating that I have solved the problem..... It has started with the same symptoms as before... I did have a look at the intercooler but there doesn't appear to be any leaks visible or bowing from the bottom, so I will turn my attention to the vacuum lines again, and the pipe work from the intercooler..
Looks like I might be changing the TCV and the BCV... More money.... Lol
I just want to have the confidence to put my foot down and know she's not going to go into limp mode...
I had a nice t5 but I couldn't refuse the offer i had on it... Lol
