That would be great-thank you. I'm still waiting for an insurance verdict, but it looks promising that it can be fixed locally outside of insurance. Is the body parts the same colour?
Can I let you know what parts I need once my mechanic has looked at it tomorrow?
I would really like to get it repaired as it's the cheaper option and I really like the car! But conscious that I need a car asap and concerned re the time to fix and get back on the road- hence looking at he v70 on Wednesday.

Thanks

Does anyone have any knowledge of this model and engine and things that I should be wary of?im slightly concerned about the power, it seems to be a small Diesel engine for a big car, and a bit worried re mileage, but it's reassuring hat it's been serviced by Volvo.
Main thing to look at will be has the DPF EOLYS fluid been topped up every 37,500 miles and when has the DPF been changed? It's supposed to be changed every 75,000 miles but is often skipped. That's not necessarily such a problem if the previous owner hasn't stuck rigidly to that schedule but if it's the original DPF filter it's probably well past being on borrowed time.
