I would report him as a non paying bidder ebay clearly states in its outbid notices that you could still win if a bidder pulls out ect, bare minimum send him a cancelation notice or they will want a final value fee off you.

Cheers steve

Why are there so many MUPPETS on eBay? Why can't people just bid and pay or don't bid at all. As for postage to Ireland....don't get me started!!!

As said above, advertise it on as many sites as you can and allow a few quid for haggling. If you can sort the ABS all the better to assist with the sale. Good luck...

Have now put the cancellation notice through, although he still hasn't responded to that! No sign in his feedback of him buying another vehicle.

I'll have to pay another £8 listing fee too!

Is "http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/henderson_x" any of you guys on here???

Probably will. I think the lowest I would take in a private sale though is £800

Hi

Do you know what the problem is with the ABS? A sensor or anything more?

I don't. I cannot afford or justify in my position getting the codes read as I am moving house tomorrow and baby is due on 15th July.

It can only be one of three things from what I have read:

1. ABS Sensor - cheap to fix/replace
2. Wiring Fault - common problem on S40's, just a case of carefully inspecting the loom
3. ABS Control Unit - I have seen fully working ones on eBay for £35

So I would say the max it would cost to fix would be £100 including getting the codes read.

The new advert for this is here:
