Circumstances have held the search up. Lads surfing last weekend and the missus is on a hen night this weekend (so I've got the kids). Am planning on going to see a AWD R tomorrow (but its done 100K and its an Auto). But i need to drive an auto before I rule it out. Other than that its spec is what i want.

On with the search!

Dont let the milage put you off.As long as its been well maintained it will last for ever. And dont let the Auto box put you off either, they are so easy to drive in traffic and allows you to keep both hands on the wheel when your driving becomes "sporty".

Thanks for the advice. Am going to see a T5 manual and AWD R auto this weekend. This should help with he choice. Some of the lads at works have been telling me the virtues of auto's. So I'll give it a try.

Regards
Chris

No Volvo (yet!)

An AWD and Auto would be my last choice. For reliability and performance reasons.

>Yes, car was very nice, drove well and my dad would like it!
Oh well I'll keep looking! Still narrowing down the choice!

Thanks to everyone for the advice. I've just bought an 'S' reg V70 T5 SE manual with 55,000 miles on the clock. It was RAC checked today and no major problems were found. Will pick it up on Monday!

Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

And you will enjoy every second of it. Make sure its dry before putting your foot down in second.

Been out in the wet tonight! Still showed a few muppets what a T5 can do. But it doesn't go around corners like my Primera GT. It's still a damned sight faster and better built!
