Information
  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

That is awesome.

I will be having a "chat" with BT this week. Mine took 5 hours with Infinity fibre optic!! Was downloading at around 1mb/sec. Hopeless.

Do you have a monthly download limit with BT?
A friend said he would not be able to download the map update, without incurring extra charges.

Depends on what you pay for - cheapest is slower and has caps, fairly standard in the industry.

Nominal download speed is 800MB, in practice (always slower - like official fuel consumption figures!) up to 750/760MB. There are providers in the US and Korea who offer 1GB or higher.
